Post newly-discovered games here
This thread is for newly-discovered DRM-free and client-free games, so put what you find in the comments below. I'll post my own comments to let you know that the wiki page has been updated!

Also, it seems like if you copy and paste the Steam store page URL into your comment, it'll give you a really nice link to the page itself, with a preview of the game, and everything (as you can see in many of the comments below). It's a really nice visual cue, so I recommend doing that whenever you find a DRM-free game.

PLEASE MAKE SURE you specify the operating system on which you tested the game. Not all games are created equally, and some games have versions that are DRM-free on one OS but not on another. Also, remember to do a quick check on the wiki page to see if the game is already listed there.

That had crossed my mind, but I'm inclined to say that that method is okay, because 1) 7-Zip is my archiver of choice, and I'm betting there's a way to just do the same thing in the Windows/Mac/Linux file browsers, and 2) you're not adding files that are specifically made to get around Steam's DRM, it's no different than getting a Steam game to work DRM-free by deleting steam_api.dll; the .dll in Gravity Circuit's case just happens to be archived as part of one big file instead of everything for the game being uncompressed to a folder.

EDIT: I just checked Gravity Circuit again, since it got an update yesterday, and using the 7-Zip method to delete that folder inside of the .exe, it literally is a steam_api.dll file that's being deleted, so it's no different than deleting the same file from a game that doesn't have everything in one big archival file.

Oh sorry then!
I deleted the posts to avoid any complications for the Group and Thread or furture readers. Although my posts continue present in your posts quotes so you'd all need to delete my quotes and posts from your posts too.

Speaking of that, though, I'm curious about you mentioning Portal 2 as being truly DRM-free. Did you do anything special to make it work? I got it to launch without Steam, but it tells me to quit and run it through Steam once I get to the title screen.

I actually don't remember being required to start Steam on Portal 2. Though it could be that I tested it long ago, so maybe they've updated it to require the client running? I really have no idea.

That's nice to hear given that I haven't heard anything about a GOG release for this game. I probably won't be buying this game though.

We're all updated again!

According to the developer, Selaco is DRM-free! I don't know if they meant Windows or Linux or both, but it's GZDoom, so I can't imagine that it's not both.

Given that the demo is drm-free, that isn't surprising. Also, I think I remember hearing that Selaco will come to GOG at some point.

They said they'd try to get it to GOG after it's out of Early Access, I believe.

EDIT: And we're updated!

According to Dribbleondo[www.pcgamingwiki.com] Crime Boss: Rockay City is now (partially) DRM-free.

Oh, interesting, it's one of those. It's always fun to see a game with Denuvo not only drop that, but also go completely DRM-free. It's too bad that it's only the base game, but that's still better than nothing.

I'm so glad someone finally checked Tunic's DRM

Yeah, I had to take a chance on it because of the sale, and I was pleasant surprised. No tricks needed, either.

This actually makes sense cause I have the DRM Free version from Humble Bundle and it's basically just the Steam files.

Yeah, a lot of companies do that. I've downloaded games from the Epic Store that also have the Steam .dlls included, sometimes they're all just the same. (Which is how it should be, honestly. Why make some versions that are locked down if you don't mind releasing them without restrictions elsewhere?)
