1) I do understand. I also understand the same scam with the Corrupted items, I even fell for it once, a few years back, when these items just appeared.

But look at the Market purchase history. People are buying standard Bashers as well, and they're paying $25 for them. So is it a scam, in this case, really? If you can sell this item on the market for the price he's advertising, it isn't a scam.

2) I did. Not sure what's the problem. He's trading for profit, same as you do.

3) Like I said, he's trading for profit. You want to do exactly the same.

4) Now, selling +rep is an offense, as far as I know. Swapping rep isn't, however (everyone does that). But offering to sell rep IS an offense, and you should've reported him for this, instead of all this whining about him -repping you, which is his personal judgement -- yeah, he's a shitty human being, but that's on him, and that's not bannable, unfortunately.

5) I'm trading for profit, same as you do. I wouldn't swap my Arcana for Bashers, that's for starters. But since you can sell these for the price he's offering, you can't call him lowballer. As I've stated above, check sales history on the Basher Blades w/o the gem, the price he says is real.

And I'll have to repeat this: -repping you isn't a bannable offense. Selling +rep is (or at least I think it is).

Delete/close your thread, and report him for selling +rep for items, if you want him punished.

I might as well keep this open and let jerry and other mods be the judge for that . Anyways thanks for ur time

But it looks like you're not getting mine.

He was looking at the Market price, which is $25. Unlocking PA Arcana doesn't really add value to the item (since I don't need to invest money to do it, I can just play the hero).

Now, important questions:
1) Did he care about you getting the same item cheaper? Not likely.

2) Was his items adequately priced? Yes, they were.

3) Was his offer relevant? Yes, it was, because locked PA/CM Arcanas are worth $24-26. So, in terms of Steam Market your items were equally priced.

4) Is declining his offer is a reason to -rep you? Depends on one's judgement. For me, it isn't. For you it isn't as well. He thought it is, however. Well, okay.

5) Is -repping you a reason to report a person? No, it isn't.

6) Can this be classified as rep abuse? No, it can not. He only gave you one -rep, which is absolutely viable, he's in his right to do that. If he would be using multiple accounts to give you 2 or more -reps, that could be counted as rep abuse.

I've encountered people who REALLY abused their rep. A dude has posted a trade, saying: "I will give free rares to anyone who reps [link to profile]". Now, that IS rep abuse, and that is reportable and bannable.

Your case, however, is not. I can guarantee you that moderator will do nothing about it, and it's fair.

i can get a normal inscribed set for 0.40 swap the gem with something like a team gem and sell it 2x or 3x or sometimes even 10x the price ( if m lucky ) i purchased . thats what he is doing . i hope u understand

5) will u trade for an item which is probably 10$ cheaper in market ? . probably you would if u are a rich brat ? sorry i wont . its more sensible for me to trade with people who are trading it fair and not trying any shenanigans . his offer was no way fair he was trying to make the most of the situation and abusing some bugs that only few know .
