Secret areas

Hi guys! I hope the devs or someone else still reads these from time to time, and can ease my pain.

We really liked the map, neat visual and level design, unique atmosphere, a real challange, mostly due to the different level structure than the original maps. It's not perfect, the 3rd map is practicly impossible on expert, and the ending squence had some pacing issues (the horde is coming for sooo long before the tanks showed up, we thought the map was broken), but overall an extraordinary job. Thumbs up!

Even more so because of the inclusion of secret areas. It's good little extra, reminded me of older games and the thrill of trying to find the way to open/reach them in hopes of legendary loot. BUT, we ran into quite a big problme with them here. Namingly, we couldn't crack any of them.I know they are supposed to be hard, but I can't help but feel that they are somewhat insourmantably hard on the player, mostly due to technical/design problems.

1. Where is the golden key? Is it even there, or that is just a ruse, to get your hopes up?

2. How do you open the door to the secret research station? I found the colour/numbers description for the code, I listened to the transmission in the trailer from 9 to 11 seconds (that's what I'm supposed to do, right? I guess the bright flashes at 9 and 11 indicate the starting and ending point to the sequence in question), but nothing happened, no matter what is pushed. And thats the problem, I don't know, if I pushed the correct buttons, because they give no visual or audio feedback as to which button did I actually press.
So, whats the secret?

3. The big green box in the 3rd level. We also found the key to that, but couldn't figure ot how to interact with the thing at all, so we left it where it is. How do you write the letters into it? Or what am I supposed to do?

If anyone reads this and knows the answers, I hope you can shed some light on the matter, because it's really bugging me :D
