who's aim for body? while not being a player with high accuracy I still have a decent overall Kills / Headshot ratio (nearly 60), so how about for the players generally having high accuracy? it's nothing.
"Headshot mode" -
If someone wants to 1 shot kill a bulk you can do it on Overkill difficulty & on 145+ too using bronco, But you need to reload on 5 or 6 depend on how you are used to it & it takes a fraction delay to acquire targets on far, so let's give 1 shot ability for M308?
It doesn't matter you have 1/10th of the health, all you need is to keep a certain distance & M308.
Why include cheat mods? both head shot mods are cheats for kill farming. If you gonna take this path why not include "No reloads", "M308 Mag capacity increase" ....etc. just put some condition & call it a challenge.
There are certain games / servers have headshot mods, it's for the people looking for an extra challenge not for cheating, so there are no damage increase.
I always respected that people have the right to use trainers or what ever cheats on their private lobbies, they bought the game to play the way they want.
But being the most well known player other than CH in the community publishing cheats that's a different story. Specially with bundled with DAHM so called an anti cheat mod.
If this is the way few remaining veteran players play the game I won't be bother with things which I have planned for the community which I was working past few months anymore. Why bother when people using fucking cheats.
These were just mutator tests basically and none of these mods are particularly useful. Okay, the PS3 thing kinda is a bit cheat when playing with a team, but you won't gain anything useful when playing it other than cash. And since Overdrill is a thing...
I don't see the gameplay element in this other than it being cheats. Yes, the PS3 one is as well
My motivation for just disabling only those stats is that mutators don't necessarily make the game easier and I don't expect them to be played very often. And for the most part all stats should average out as they're just incremental. That is, if you don't exclusively use mods to make the game easier. But I guess I could make a few changes to disable all stats for the ones currently listed. Imo weapon rebalance mods mess with stats a lot more.
I did try them out by myself and these mods really aren't as easy as their description may make it sound. Excluding the PS3 one of course, that one is just a straight cheat that many people wanted to try. But for that one I don't expect it to be played after a few rounds of seeing how boring it is with a team.
edit: No stats are now published to Steam for mods with their challenges disabled.
One year already...
