I know Sandwich, Mucko, MarineRecon, and few others were in to Cryptic's City of Heroes. I was a little to late too join them in City of Heroes, but Cryptic on Sep 1 is set to release their new superhero MMO, Champions Online, on Steam.

Who would be interested in trying out Champions Online?

"CTA Games has officially launched a new tournament for Call of Duty 4 called Eastern Crisis. Eastern Crisis is setup similar to that of Victory In Europe where there are 2 sides (1 division per side) fighting for the middle east.

Eastern Crisis battles will are Sunday's (4:00pm GMT - 1:00am GMT) and Thursday (5:30pm GMT - 2:30am GMT).

Frontlines: Fuel of War and Turning Point: Fall of Liberty are out in stores this week.

Frontlines: Fuel of War is releasing through steam on 2/27, 9AM PST.

Frontlines has single and multiplayer gameplay. The game is geared to the online play with up to 64 players. The game takes place in the not too distant future where the world is split into two factions, Western Coalition (the United States and the European Union), and the Red Star Alliance (Russian/People's Republic of China), which they fight over the dwindling resources of Earth. This may all sound very similar to anyone that has played Battlefield 2142, so is this game just a clone of BF2142 or does this game offer something more. The two aspects that stand out are the frontline game mechanic, and player controlled drones. The frontline game mechanic consist of objectives along the frontline that each side must control before the frontline can advance. The player controlled drones range from flying scout drones to mobile ground attack drones, but be sure your teammates support you because you will be vulnerable to attack as you control your drones.
I'll wait to see some more PC reviews before I plunking some money down. Also you may want to wait for the demo that comes out March 11.

Turning Point, yeah I know...not another WWII FPS, but wait before you run away...it's alternate timeline where Winston Churchill dies in 1931, the Nazis conquers all of Europe and then sets its sights on the US. Now it's 1953 and the invasion of America is upon us. The premise is interesting, but I think I will wait for the reviews to come out before I purchase this game.
