Sandstorm - Version 1.17 update scheduled for 2024.12.05

If things go as announced, Sandstorm will update to version 1.15 sometime tomorrow. I think this is the first update by Saber Games (?), so I expect the best, while preparing for the worst.

Cassies will be down briefly while the update is being installed, tested.

If some of the Cassandra features "break" due to this upgrade, I may be forced to run "vanilla" configuration for a while until I can resolve the problem issues. If this becomes necessary I'll temporary password lock Cassandra2 for the regulars (but not Cassandra1) .

Password will be "cass" -- feel free to share with your friends that understand our gaming protocol.

Hopefully the upgrade will go smoothly and we will simply "game on!"

So far I'm seeing some cold-startup issues with the v1.17 update, however it will eventually run, and once up, seems to remain stable.

Please report any issues, bugs, anomalies.
