Reforger: MH6/AH6 Helicopter Quick-Start Notes

This is my minimalist notes on how to install MH6/AH6 "Killer Egg" helicopter mod, and practice flying!
Please comment any corrections, clarifications or improvements - Thanks!

One Time Setup - Installing Mods

Start Arma Reforger (game client)

Go to [Workshop] Menu

Install the following Mods:
* Where Am I (ValterB)
* Always Sunny (Hypoxic125)
* AH6M (AkiraSeki) - and auto-download dependencies: AKI Core, WCS_Armament

Exit to main menu

One Time Setup - Game Master: Assets Placement

Start Arma Reforger (if not already running)

Go to [PLAY] Menu

Select "Game Master - Arland"

Use ASDW keys, ZQ keys for altitude

Find a clear, open, flat spot in map

[TAB] to open Entity Browser

Turn on "Vehicles" and "Character" on right pane (filter)

Find and click "Officer", drop it on map

[TAB] to open Entity Browser again

Find and click "MH-6M", drop it on map

Click on Save Icon at top of screen (picture of Disk)

Save with whatever name you want to call it.

MH6/AH6: Flying Practice

Start Arma Reforger (if not already running)

Go to [PLAY] Menu

Select "Game Master - Arland"

At top bar, Load Icon (Load State)

Right click on Officer (on map) -> Take Control or...
Hover mouse over Officer and press [C]

[ENTER (on NUMPAD)] toggles 1st and 3rd person view
Double-tapping [ALT]/single-tapping [ALT]/hold-[ALT] to lock/unlock/temp FreeLook

Walk: ASDW/Mouse, approach right side of Helo, and press [F] to board as pilot

Optional: Turn all HUDS [F]

Double-tap [ALT] to disable free look (Important!)

Start Engine, hold down [R]

ASDW/Mouse to steer direction,
LSHIFT/LCTL for increase/decrease power,
QE for collective

For easy landing, [C] to auto-hover then gradually decrease power [LCTRL]

Tap [LCTRL][R] to turn off engine

After Crashing...

At top bar, Load Icon (Load State)

If you don't see the top bar, then [ESC] -> "Re-spawn" to see the Load Icon at top

Miscellaneous

[M] to toggle Map

[K] to toggle compass
