Steam Wallet funds gone

So today i looked at my steam wallet the balance is $0 even though i had a balance yesterday. i did purchase a game today so is my steam balance automaticly used to pay for games? so does anyone know what might cause this?

Yes. If you have the funds in your Steam wallet then it takes it from there by default.

Is there a way to see what the money from my Steam Wallet has been used for? I just realized my Steam Wallet is now empty and I can't remember buying anything with it...

Yeah, I as well, have had a weird experience with the Steam Wallet. All funds in my Wallet is made from trade card sales. I should've got 1,8 €, but they disappeared slowly.. a few cents one day and a few cents another day... and I hadn't bought anything for weeks back then (around september 2013). I wrote Valve, and they answered "it was used to fund a recent purchase I've made". Bullsh*t!

After all, if you buy something on the store /market (what ever), wouldn't your wallet be left empty if the item / game you've bought costs more than you've got in your wallet? It wouldn't just take like 0.20 €, RIGHT?

Same problem here, I actually put more money in the wallet to confirm. Every two or three days I lose 0.05 pounds for no reason, no purchases made, neither on the market or in the store

are you sure that you have not setu up your buy now thingy that automatically buy cards for you when they are priced at your asking price?that might be the case for all you guys here.

If that was the case the sell should be cancelled as soon as you ran out of money in the wallet, or does the sell store itself untill you fill the wallet again and it will continue buying?

In my case, it happened before this feature existed.

I might gonna check up on that. Just to make sure it's not the case.

Fortunatly, my current balance has stayed put for quite a while now. I believe it's all good now... but might as well still look for it.
