We've released a new feature to allow users to remove the market restriction that's placed when using a new credit card. When using a new credit card to add wallet funds, access to the Community Market has always been restricted. But now, if you go through the verification process, you can remove the restriction right away.

You can begin the verification process from the card verification page. When applicable, there is a link to this page on your account page and the main Community Market page.

If you encounter a bug, please let us know by replying to this thread.

Steam Support cannot remove or alter any Market restrictions. Contacting us will not result in expedited use of the Market.

If you aren't able to verify your credit card then you need to wait 5 days for the market ban to go away every time you add funds to your wallet via that credit card. But if you want to add funds to your wallet and never get a market ban, you have to add funds to your wallet via Steam Wallet Codes which are available for sale on many online retail stores. By adding funds to your wallet via steam wallet codes there won't be a ban on community market as you add funds. It is better to add funds via steam wallet codes rather than adding funds via an unverified credit card and getting a 5 day market ban.

Using AUD and will not work, used both of the small amounts, even converted them into USD and still didn't work. Only have one chance left, if someone can contact me on how to utilize my last chance, that would be cool, very sick of this verification process. Cheers in advanced.

The amounts which the steam have charged you are shown in AUD in your bank account right ? Then to know to value of those small amounts in USD simply do 1 thing. Before the verification you would have added funds to your account right ? The amount of those funds would also be shown as AUD in your bank account. Now go to your bank account statement and see the amount in AUD and divide it by the value of funds you added to your account. The answer is the exchange rate at which steam charged you the amount . For example. If you have added 10$ to your account then the amount will be shown in AUD in your bank statement, then see the amount in bank statement and divide it by 10. The answer is the exchange rate at which steam charges you. Now once you have got the exchange rate, check the bank statement for the two small amounts charged by steam to verify the card, they are in AUD and you have the exchange rate, so just divide the amount in AUD by the exchange rate you calculated and the answer is the amount in USD charged by steam,enter that for verification. DONE :D

i have maestro card and it wont allow me to add it

nor will my bank account be addd either

i got a problem i did evryhing to verify my card but when the transactions where made and i wrote the amount of euros it just sair wrong ammount and i basiccly got scammed and money taken away for nothing
