Incorrect/Misleading Community Market Prices

I have noticed some incorrect price information for items on the Steam market. Here is one example: https://steamcommunity.com/market/search?appid=304930&q=magic+cape

When viewed on the search page it shows a price 31c. When viewed from Steam inventory, it says '155 for sale starting at 31c'. However when you try to buy, the actual price is $3.35.

It is apparent from the sales graph that unsuspecting sellers have listed their item at 31c, trusting the inaccurate price info, and hence missing out on $3.00 profit. This needs to be fixed!

Bump - this is still a problem. Can anyone from Steam please fix? Unsuspecting sellers are getting ripped off while greedy people are profiting.

It's not affecting me at all - it's affecting the sellers (probably kids) who list their items trusting the price info and without checking the market graph and are getting ripped off.

Valve would actually stand to make MORE money if the error was fixed, because these items are being sold drastically below their actual value, so Valve's 10% cut is smaller.

Someone has noticed the price error and they make sure they are at the top of the buy order list all the time. Whenever anyone lists an item for the incorrect price, (currently 23c) they get it.

Then they immediately re-sell it for $2-$3. If you try to place a higher buy order, they just sell you one of their capes for $1.80 or whatever the highest b/o is, still making profit.

If you look at the graph you can see the wild fluctuations in price. Each one of those low sales is someone losing profit (sellers and Valve included) while the other guy profits.
