[Solved] Item at a higher price sold before mine?
I have an item on the community market for 3.50€ since the 3rd of October, and after checking the history for that item I see that someone bought the same item for 3.52€ only 3 days ago while mine still hasn't been sold at a lower price, how is that possible?

edit: thank you hotsauce, this isn't exactly what that FAQ answer describes and more the other way around (sell order not buy order) but this is most likely a currency conversion thing

If multiple buy orders satisfy a new market listing, which buy order gets processed?

We have made some changes to how this works in March of 2017, and again in July of 2017 to try to be more fair for users of all currencies.

The oldest matching buy order will be selected. It used to be that the buy order for the highest amount after currency conversion would be selected, but that was unfair to users of some currencies as the maximum amount differs from currency to currency. So now, if multiple buy orders could fulfill a newly-listed item, the oldest buy order will be selected.

The fact you were not first in line to sell the item is the issue.

But the cheapest one is first in line right? I can't go on an item's page and pay for the most expensive listing

Given the proximity of the prices it's probably a currency conversion rate thing, this is the item: https://steamcommunity.com/market/listings/232090/M14EBR%20%7C%20Vietnam%20%7C%20Field-Tested

Well it depends, if the item that was sold for 3.52 was better in any way it makes sense. Like csgo skins, some of them have stickers on weapons and it adds up total price.
