Item lost (not returned to inventory) after cancelling sell order
I posted about this on a general help forum, not sure how I missed this forum before... I tried to sell an item on the community market, but canceled the sell order after a few days since no one had bought it. However, the item has not returned to my inventory. I can see the sell order being canceled in my market history and it is not listed as an active sell order now so I know it didn't get executed and was canceled, the item just isn't back in my inventory. It's been around a couple weeks now, how do I get that corrected? I found some old threads where people had similar issues. Sounded like the advice at the time was wait a few hours and then contact support, but none of the support links I can find appear to work anymore. Is the forum the way to contact support now? Thanks for the help.

Try listing something anew on the Market, unlist and see if that bumps your inventory.

No, you'll eventually get to [Contact Steam Support] should your problem be deemed as needing it at http://help.steampowered.com

Thank you! I cancelled another item and sure enough that restored the other item to my inventory. Good idea! Doesn't exactly make me feel great about the underpinnings of the market/inventory, but at least my current issue is solved. Thanks again.
