And since they act like they're better than everyone, they spend each second whining about other servers when they're not whining about Casual or Quickplay for the 900th time. It sucks cause in concept, the server itself isn't really bad at all. It's just the awful people it attracts that ruins the entire experience. Casual may have its issues but I'll GLADLY take it anyday over that cesspool. Does it have toxicity? Absolutely but atleast it isn't the entire server participating it with 0 remorse or care. Uncletopia might be too sweaty for some but atleast the people there are actually chill. Servers like the Furry Pound are also pretty relaxed from what I heard but I don't play it myself.

Castaway is filled with actual 4Chan dwelling losers. I tried Castaway like 1-2 times but was always hesitant afterwards cause of its playerbase. Gave it a shot like last week again and it was even worse than last time. They usually just spend time acting as if they're all high and mighty just cause they say, "♥♥♥♥ casual amirite? Bring back quickplay!!" and then follow it up by saying every single slur in the book. Can't call a vote either, because they'll just make fun of you and all of a sudden the entire server is against you for actually being a decent human being. Moderation there is pretty much nonexistent. Zesty's servers isn't as bad as this but this issue is still really bad at times compared to other servers.

Try a VPN if you are having problems connecting, I have heard there's a lot of issues with EU ISPs. Cloudflare warp is supposedly pretty solid

Shoutout to captain slitti, who not only was the originator of this bizzarre venture, but was also present on the servers for ~30 of the 48 hours. However this session was not the achievement of one guy, this was a collective effort which was only possible thanks to hundreds of players joining all throughout, not just from NA, but from all over the world. On the 28th we had ~240 unique players join, on the 29th ~280!

Thank you to everyone who participated in this milestone session. This was only possible thanks to the continued dedication and loyalty of our players.

And some other good news as well - EU seems to be getting back on its feet again due to a dedicated seeding effort, cheers to those who came to Castaway Germany’s aid in recent weeks.

A new record has been set - we have just had our longest lasting playsession to date.
On November 28, at around 7PM Eastern Time – NA Castaway began a session that ended up lasting 48 hours, until 7PM November 30. There were naturally some playercount fluctuations along the way, but the NA session held strong without really emptying out for 2 days straight. This started as the 3rd 24 hour session of the year, but once we reached that milestone, a local madman known as slitti decided he was not satisfied and decided to push the session for 48 hours, just to prove a point - and that point was indeed proven.

Despite the fact that this session was not planned in advance, meaning some of our core players were unavailable, despite the other Castaway regions having their own sessions at the same time, and in spite of some technical issues – miraculously Castaway Virginia really was alive for 48 hours straight.
