Can we do something about the bot's inventory?
The bot has too many cards. Way too many. I'm sure I'm not the only one who gets trade errors because of it.
When I try to load the bot's inventory, the trade offer freezes up until it expires.
And when I do it through my browser (which has no expiration time), my browser freezes for a total of 6 minutes! By the time the inventory fully loads, the cards I wanted have been taken! :steamsalty:
I'm no genius, so I don't have a magical fix all spell, but I feel like adding a second bot would reconsile most of the problems.

But that's just me. Thoughts?

The only solution right now: Use quick trade :/

Press that button, put in the cards you want to trade away and don't wait for the other card to load. In this case you always trade 1 card away from bot, but it just takes 5 seconds to make such a trade.

The card you trade out still appears in your trade confirmation.

That's how I do my trades. It works (for the most part), but I figure with our collective brains and technology we can fix this for everyone.

My main issue with trade is that I have to wait for so long until the bot either accepts or decline.

I think the best way to handle the trades is like csgo betting sites do it. Users should are able to load their inventory on the website, select the cards they want to give, select the ones they want from the bot, and the bot is the one who sends a trade offer to the users. But that probably requires recoding the entire bot/website.

I currently working on a system like this, but I got no time to finish it, so we have to make the best out of the current system.

Wow! i have been using the bot for a while and i hated to load the bot's inventory (on firefox with arround +10 clicks on "don't stop script" or something like that) and now i have discovered thanks to this thread, the "quick trade" option... and i usually do the trades 1 by 1... i feel a bit dumb xD .
Maybe you should advertise it more for people like me (i guess i am not the only one, but could be xD ).
Thanks for the bot and this feature (haven't tested yet, but i will) ;) .

I would like a sollution to this problem aswell. I cant do trading via the steam app. The inventory makes steam crash on my iPhone 6.

Can't you use a system similar to the userscript of STM?

With a five trade offers limit per receiving user and current bot speed due to sale, trading becomes really impossible. Hopefully we'll get this new system before the next sale.

Man, you know, it'd be REALLY nice if the bot could stop declining my trades for no reason. I have to wait 10 minutes each time just for it to be randomly declined. I have the credits needed, I just want the cards I need before someone swoops in and takes them.

The bot doesn't decline any trades for no reasons, there's always a reason :/

I would suggest that you use quick trade, just press the quick trade button and confirm the trade, you don't have to wait until the card is loaded, with this trades should go fast.

I used quick trade, I know what I'm talking about when I say that the bot declined it for no reason. I even checked my profile multiple times(It didn't even show up in my profile under declined trades or add to the counter).

Same happened to me during sale once or twice, although i brushed it off because of huge bot load at that moment.

The reason could also be a steam error. Sometimes steam just reports empty offers back. The bot doesn't get any SteamID just the OfferID, so he declines these aswell. With reason I don't wanted to say a human error, more likely if everything is correct the bot will accept.

Yeah, I get the same thing with the bot declining trades and no result reported on the "Recent Trades" list.

And, the inventory still displays for me, but it is downloading data at ~10-12MB/s (100Mbps downstream) for probably a dozen seconds, to load in all those card images and such. My guess is that's the issue why it 'takes forever' for some people.

Just a thought in regards to reducing the load time for the bots inventory... Have 27 different bots, with games split between them based on name of the game #, A, B, C, etc.
If you want cards for games beginning with H, you trade with bot H, and cards you send in return for games that don't begin with H, the H bot automatically forwards to the appropriate bot.
