Land 7 Objective "Never lose a Villager to an Attack" not completing?

I thought this might trigger when I won the land but it didn't; it's still grayed out, I didn't get the tribute for it, there's no check-mark indicating it's complete and there's no 'X' to say I messed it up and can't complete it. I went to the next land to see if it triggers after leaving but no dice :( Suggestions?
