On 07JUL2017, the Digital Training Group VPN (Hamachi Server) was reset. You must rejoin and notify Actual (Sandbag) to be added to the network.

On 07JUL2017, the Digital Training Group Teamspeak Server password was removed. No password will be required until further notice. TS server is TFAR and ACRE friendly. Guests welcome with member present.

As of 21:45, 02JUL2017, DTG has an active Teamspeak 3 server available for members.

Training and operations will be conducted on the DTG TS server from now on.

For the time being, Hamachi will still be the preferred method for server hosting but this issue is also being addressed.

As a reminder, on 10JUL2017 @ 18:00 Pacific Standard Time, DTG is conducting CAS training for members. Invites are also welcome- please contact Sandbag for additional info or check the announcements section of the steam group page.

Training and Operations to resume effective immediately. If you wish to participate, please reach out to me with details regarding your availability. Comments on curriculum/operations are welcomed.

I would also like to take this opportunity to welcome new member Lightpants, whom has joined DTG members on several operations during the last week.

In these past months, DTG has continued to operate informaly due to conflicting schedules and life events. There have been numerous excellent operations on the DTG VPN server and it is expected that more good times are to be had in the near future.

On the immediate schedule is a revist of Operation Wirecut, and Phantom's Rainbow 6 mission. Also in the works are a few custom operations more closely grounded in DTG realism simulation: two are based upon current events in Iraq involving special forces direct action raids against the Islamic State. Another is based upon current events in Eastern Europe involving the Russian Federation and NATO member states and will primarily focus on conventional infantry and combined arms combat.

As always, I will be available for shoothouse/field training upon request.
