If you're using pre-release you should be using latest available version, which as of now is V6.0.1.19.

As stated in release cycle wiki entry, pre-releases might be less stable and more problematic during the cycle, which indeed happened as we were fixing and improving inventory fetching, which might've caused the issue. That issue should no longer happen in latest pre-release, and it never happened in latest stable, since we do it precisely to skip issues in our stable builds.

If you still have issues on latest pre-release or latest stable, then check out the logs and if there is any error or warning that would've suggested the issue then post it here so I can take a look. In any case, I'm not aware of any issues right now, although indeed we've just fixed the last one in latest pre-release so it might be that there are still some more.

That's a direct violation of Steam ToS, such feature doesn't exist by default in ASF and we won't discuss it here.

Your log doesn't state anything wrong, ASF checks trades after logging in to the account - try to log in as https://steamcommunity.com/profiles/76561198078996445 and check yourself active trade offers, perhaps the trade offer is no longer active or you've mixed up some accounts.

I've just checked my ASF and immediately after I sent trade offer to the bot, it responded with acceptance. I also tested sending trade offer while bot was offline and immediately after it logged in, it also accepted my trade offer, so there is definitely something wrong on your side.

Start from posting a full log.txt as recorded by ASF, then I'll be able to tell more.

Nope, bots start is asynchronous, this is also why it seems "random" to you. They're initialized in (alphabetical) order, but the precise order they log in is not guaranteed.

No, farming preferences is flags enum as stated on the wiki, use value of 1 if you want just paused, use other values if you want something else.

ASF.db is not something you're expected to remove on every reboot. Usually this means you're dealing with file corruption, i.e. you or some other tool is modifying it in unexpected way, alternatively your RPI is not delivering enough of power and causing all kind of filesystem-level corruptions where ASF.db lies.

You should get a precise reason why ASF.db is corrupted, post full log.txt stating that reason and I might be able to tell more.

Support for private games was added in V5.5.3.2. "Support" means ASF can now detect and automatically skip private games, which should be sufficient. You're still expected to unmark game as private if you expect to farm cards from it.
