If you absolutely need .NET SDK then the instructions will be same as installing .NET SDK on arch linux derivative that SteamOS derives from. Will probably involve something like pacman and AUR, speaking of which there is also https://aur.archlinux.org/packages/asf ASF package there.

But my recommendation would be to run linux-x64 which should not require from you to install anything, barely unpack and run.
Even if you are unable to fine pre-made package with .net 7.0 runtime - it should be fairly easy to follow microsoft's guide for scripted install. I'm too lazy to check now, but I'm pretty sure it will also work without issues.
Then try to launch it in the terminal and see what the problem is, ASF does not "just close", either it crashes with exception and will tell you why + write the log file (if possible), or it'll otherwise inform you what the problem is.
