Is it fine to play some games while ASF is "on"?

Hello. I have only one account to farm on and play on, so, is it fine to play some other games while ASF is farming? Is it even possible to farm while playing?

For example, can I play game X that has some or none card drops remaining while ASF is farming game Y?

Also, is it possible to idle some games that have no card drops?

You can't play and idle at the same time - you can decide to launch a game, in this case ASF will get disconnected and wait patiently till you're done.

Yes, either through !play or GamesPlayedWhileIdle.

Thank you for answering. So, I just change the zero value of GamesPlayedWhileIdle to a game ID number found from it's store address? (http://i.imgur.com/trYSMrh.jpg)

One more question: Is it normal for ASF not to ask for password and Steam Guard key at all after the first login? (http://i.imgur.com/W76g4j6.jpg) After I enter my username here, it starts farming.

Yes, this is an array so you can use more than one game, check Blacklist example in ASF.json for multiple values. ASF will then farm those titles when it has nothing to do, as stated in the wiki.

ASF won't ask for password unless it's required - it uses login keys mechanism for authorization, the same one that Steam uses. Your password is not saved anywhere, but login key is saved in Bot.db and used for next login.

I know this is an old thread but, what about playing on main acct (which have no card drops) while idling a secondary acct?

Of course it's possible, same as it's possible to play if ASF is not actively playing on your account at the same time. Just having program launched doesn't affect the status, whether it actively idles or not does.

Thanks for this nice app Archi. I've been using IM for two years and today decided to try ASF.

Regarding this topic. Is it safe to play PUBG on alt account while ASF is farming my main account?
PUBG uses BattleEye which many stated is checking all processes running on the machine, so I'm little worried about this.

ASF idling alt should not affect any activity on your main, I'm more than sure that we'd already get some reports from PUBG users if there was any conflict
