Help me to import Steam autenticator from Android phone
ASF 2FA

Well, you can't get authenticator from official steam app if you don't have some means to get to protected files (e.g. root). As an option, you can transfer your authentificator to SDA (auth in official app will stop working), and then you will have maFile that you can both import to ASF and use in some third-party android app, like ICE or Aegis. This is not what you want of course, but that's closest you can get without root. As a downside - you will have 2 or 3 days or trade hold after transferring auth.
Required tools if you decide to go this way:
  1. My fork of SDA [github.com]that allows moving of authenticator. You can of course use original SDA[github.com] and just remove 2fa from phone and set it from scratch in SDA, but this way you will have trade hold for 15 days instead of 2-3.
  2. ICE[play.google.com] - third party steam client that supports 2fa
  3. Aegis[play.google.com] - another third party authenticator, alternative to ICE

Thanks, I saw this tutorial...But I can't access the Steam backup, to get the authenticator...I would like to continue with the authenticator on Android and import it into ASF 2FA

The article that Astaroth linked you above mentions the ways to fetch the data from Android, if you can't follow any e.g. because of root, then you're out of options, there is no magic hidden undocumented way that would work, if it existed then it'd be linked above.

Thanks developer for your attention...I looked at all the possible tutorials, and almost all the programming forums...
My initial idea was to clone the smartphone's Steam Guard to WinAuth, and then enable 2FA within the ASF UI...
But it seemed a bit laborious...
Now I decided, change the Steam Guard to WinAuth, and insert the key in the ASF UI...I already have some bots with this, only missing the main account...

Yes, I didn't want root access. I preferred the most obvious way...Too bad I'll have 15 days of blocking...

I'm testing the ASF STM function...

Thanks <3
