Noob Question - drops on CSGO

Hi All

Hoping someone might be able to answer this question for me please.

I haven't played CSGO in about 3 years (played a bit, didnt like it)

I fired it up during the steam sale to buy some keys via the store.... for various reasons... cough cough cough cough....... ;)

When i run my farm now, it is saying i have 94 card drops remaining for CSGO.

I was under the impression you only get drops in the amount of half, of the number of cards required to complete a badge, ie if a badge has 6 cards, you get 3 drops from a game.

Why is my farm saying i have 94 drops for CSGO ?

Appreciate any assistance...

CSGO (and some other games with in game store) will give you 1 card for each $10 spent, that's why.
That was quite a sum you spent there hehe, too bad your profile is private and i can't see your GP badge :P

Farm those cards and sell then to recover some of the loss from the keys ;)
