Not reading wiki.
https://github.com/JustArchi/ArchiSteamFarm/wiki/Performance
- You can't exactly set it up for just multiple games, the program finds the best algorithm at all times.
Though, usually it'll farm a lot of games simultaneously until it reaches a certain amount of hours (If all the games being farmed hasn't been played already)
Archy is saying you didn't read the wiki because it's clearly stated in the wiki.
In automatic mode, ASF does not allow you to choose the games that should be farmed, neither allows you to change cards farming algorithm. ASF knows better than you what it should do and what decisions it should make in order to farm as fast as possible.
- The software is amazing, just depends on the game and other variables such as the time needed for certain games and the amount of games being played at once.
Sorta like math, in a way, maybe not?
A lot of software nowadays has dependencies in the terms of performance, in this case, a dependency would be the fact that some games takes a long time, while others take a short time.
Buying 20 games for instance, granted me 130 cards in approximately 9 hours (Over half of these cards were achieved within the first 4 hours - All the games were simultaneously idled as all of them had no playtime.)
You can't force ASF to use FarmSolo() or FarmMultiple() - it's ASF decision what to use in given scenario, you can only suggest ASF one approach over another with CardDropsRestricted, but like stated in the wiki, you're not in position to decide what will be better - ASF has much more data to analyze and can make choice more effectively, even if you think that you know better.
The only way of achieving even faster drop than ASF is using Steam network exploit that can drop card when game is shutting down, which is what happens e.g. with skipping games through IM. This is not friendly way, it's potential abuse, and ASF does not allow you to use it (unless you !play manually). If you want to use it, then yeah I'd appreciate if you didn't use ASF for that, as ASF is making it's best to comply with common sense and Steam servers.
Entire ASF is VAC-free.
If I get the wiki correctly,
Because the discussion is over 2 years old. The wiki should be used for up-to-date info.
