Following Saturday, the 2nd of August, 2023; skial vsh has shut their doors to usher in a new desperate attempt to revive their own VSH server with a new take on the game mode called "Saxton Chaos". The previous server of Saxton Hale US, located in Central US, has been shut down and the new server is located in East Coast, New York. Prior in the past Skial also hosted a NY Military Area only Saxton Hale server and it promptly shut it's doors while only being active for a year or so.

The new game mode is the same as before, but with a revive point system, granting players lives for their entire team and when the points run out they lose. This new game mode is in response in the current decline of players that would join off of Skial US VSH. Many suspect the reasoning for implementing a live system was to solve VSH's main problem of having people wait in spectator in order for rounds to be over.
This new alternative game mode has proven to be not successful whatsoever as the player count on the server hardly exceeds 10 or above in player count.

Drastic as it was to close down Skial VSH once and for all, but it was foreseeable with the development of Skial's VSH server being so incredibly rocky and convoluted with it's partnered associates and development implementations into the game mode itself; from buffing and neutering weapons or strategies to adding a battle royale-like zone that would enclose the map if time went on in the round, not to mention the revive markers that were implemented.

Lastly, but certainly not last, the map of VSH_Cinema. The map that had entire weapons and classes buff and designed around. The map alone that had dictated the balancing of the entire server. It is with a heavy heart to say that in order to remove Cinema from Skial, the server would have to go first.

There has been a decline in the player base of Skial VSH due to the drama surrounding the new balance changes such as the change in round times being 10 minutes now down to 5 minutes and as well as the medic nerfs and implementation of the revive system.

I fear that Skial VSH will continue down this muddy slope of improper balance changes and delusions from staff that these changes are for the better, but in fact are worsening the quality of the server.

I am posting this announcement to propose a new server for players to join and prosper where gameplay and balance is of top priority to it's player base. However, this server is lacking support and needs new players to join it in order to function and gain traction. I urge you if you are looking for a good VSH experience to come and join this server.
