- Character Biography (Short Summary): Denys was born as the second child, and the first son of Donnel Arryn. Arriving as Donnel was begin to age, he was a blessed sight. However early in his childhood he was put under strict discipline by his father. He was to do all that was expected of him as heir, to perfection. Master the sword, know the history of Westeros, charm people, guard justice, behave with dignity. Denys did all he could to live up to the expectations, and soon learned to act the ways that he knew people wanted him to. When his father then started preaching his ideas of the Vale's isolation and pride to Denys, the young teenager had learned to say the things that pleased his father, and express the emotions that did the same, while thinking something very different. He did not agree with his father, as he could see how it simply put the Arryns at the bottom of social status in anywhere but the Vale. He hid these thoughts while his father was alive, as to please him, and instead spent his time with his master, squiring for him around Westeros. But when his father died, not long ago, and Denys only being sixteen, the traveling part of his squirehood has been limited quite a lot, to allow him to begin his rule. Instead he is recieving most of his training on the road, or where he currently is holding court, or residing.
