I want to say right away that I do not plan to release Borderlands 4 achievement guide.

Usually I do not openly declare the games for which I create guides: they just come out at the same time as the release of the game. But this time I think I can say it firmly and precisely and here's why.
The thing is that Steam guides can only be created by the owners of the game, and I am very careful about the games for which I make guides because I try to avoid situations when I do this labor-intensive process for a game that no one plays.

I am sure that Borderlands will not turn out to be such a game, but the quality of games in recent years, as well as the pricing policy of publishers in the weather for profit, scare me more and more.
The prices even for basic editions of AAA games are starting to go beyond all acceptable limits, although I remember the times when pre-ordering games was an unthinkable thing.

Now I can give Doom Dark Ages, Indiana Jones and Dune: Awakening as bad examples of where the publisher is given paid early access, which often turns out to be paid early access to bugs, while regular players get the game with the first day patch.

That's why I don't really want to feed the greedy publishers who sincerely believe that I should shell out my money right now for a game that hasn't been released and is a pandora's box.
And what do you think about Borderlands 4 and its price? Is it worth buying and will the game be different from the previous games? (btw, I'm a borderlands fan)

Just yesterday my TES: Oblivion Remastered guide was released. Many users are surprised and wondering how I managed to create a guide to a game that was just released on Steam. The situation turned out to be quite interesting, so I want to tell you a little about it.

Many users who often use my guides or follow them know that I always release guides along with the release of the game itself. Literally in the first minutes after the game becomes available on Steam, my guide is created, published and filled before the eyes of the community.

This happens because I have basic information about the game long before the release and most of the materials have already been prepared by me by this time. If the game is a well-known AAA, and it is heavily advertised, then the information can be found in open sources, but sometimes, when the game is not very well-known or the developers themselves do not allow some information to be leaked, it is necessary to resort to some insiders in order to find out what you want.

Thus, I (almost) always have a period of time to prepare a guide, but this time everything was different. Rumors about the release of TES: Oblivion
Remastered began to appear only a few days ago, nothing was really known about the game. I was not even sure that the game would have achievements. The situation with the announcement and release of the game happen simultaneously is very inconvenient for me: I need to create the design and structure of the guide, preferably in such a way that it has a final look right away, and I do not have to redo it, at the same time I need to prepare the achievement files and publish them on Steam, which is sometimes very inconvenient.

Once again I am convinced that the Internet is the Internet and there is no way to avoid negativity here, because there are people who look at a guide that you made from scratch in literally a couple of hours and write things like: "wow, another half-empty speedrun guide for the sake of steam points" or "you have only played 1 hour in the game, how can you write a guide?"
I will not hide the fact that I usually delete this nonsense, because I do not even consider it necessary to explain how stupid and absurd these things are and I admit that people write them because it irritates them or maybe because they are jealous (I would like to believe, heh).

Despite all this, I am very glad to see how the guide literally in the first day collected a lot of positive reviews and found a response in the eyes of the community, because there is never a guarantee that a well-made guide will be interesting to people or it may happen that the game will be unpopular.
Besides, I have my own calendar of game releases and guides for them, so such things really ruin my schedule. Yes, I really try to make a guide
and fill it with information as soon as possible, but only to benefit the Steam community and ordinary players.

Once again, I declare that I work alone on my enthusiasm, I do not receive payment and do not have any profit from my guides. I also do not collect donations or Steam items, gifts, except for those rare cases when the developers themselves contact me and provide access to their game.

I have more sad news for you. You may have noticed that some of my guides are hidden. I had to do this because of hidden Steam restrictions.

At the moment, I can't create new guides or upload new content to existing guides. Every time I try to do this, I get an error about exceeding the Steam quota. I have found out through experience that when deleting some images or screenshots from existing guides, I can upload a new one, which hints at some excess of the allowed storage in Steam Cloud.

However, Steam support gives conflicting information about this, nowhere in the public domain is there any information about the existing Steam quotas, while I can still easily upload countless screenshots of games. At first, I thought that deleting save files from Steam Cloud would help me, but apparently other space is allocated for these files, because this did not solve my problem.

Because of this problem, many guides that had tables and screenshots with explanations are hidden, because the files themselves are deleted and all the design of the guides is broken.

I have to wait for the situation with Steam support to be resolved, so some guides had to be hidden due to incoming criticism that the guide is broken or incomplete.

I know that you use my guides, whether they are old or new, but for now I ask you to be patient and wait a little while until the situation with Steam support is resolved, and also until I put all the guides in order. I will add them one by one as I can. Thank you for your patience.

I have received a large number of messages in my DM about where my Assassins Creed Shadows guide has disappeared to. I hereby confirm that it has been temporarily removed from public access due to a complaint received for violating the DMCA.

The essence of the complaint is that the copyright holder of the gaming portal PowerPyx accused me of stealing his intellectual property.

The copyright holder filed a complaint with Valve, the guide was immediately blocked without any investigation due to the fact that if Valve does not respond to the complaint, they may be held liable along with me if the essence of the complaint is confirmed. The guide has not been removed, but is hidden from public viewing.

Despite the fact that I do not deny that I use some information sources when writing guides and PowerPyx in particular too, the complaint contains a statement that the original article was stolen by me in its entirety, literally word for word, which does not correspond to reality.

At the moment, I have written a response to the complaint and provided it to Valve, and I am also open to communication with the copyright holder and have provided comments that the whole situation is the result of a misunderstanding.

However, according to Steam's rules, the investigation takes up to 10 business days and since I am convinced that I am right and confirm that the text descriptions, design, images and screenshots that are used belong to me or are made on the basis of materials that are published by the developers for free non-commercial use, I am republishing the guide.

This is a two-way street. If I manage to reject the complaint and restore the guide, I will have wasted time and you know that I love to post my guide as fast as I can. And if I republish the guide, I will have two separate guides, which is stupid. In the end, I am republishing the guide as insurance in case for some reason I cannot reach an agreement with the copyright holder or if Valve is convinced that the complaint is valid.
