I remember on a youtube vid someone describing how the left hate a character but then see the real reaction from the public and see where the wind is blowing they face-turn and pretend they liked them all-along. They did it with Bayonetta, Tomb Raider and some other I think. Another vid showed the before and after journalist gaming pages for stella blade, the pivot was a 180 hhh.

If so, then a lot of us won't be able to buy or play it.

I'm actually looking forward to playing Wuchang: Fallen Feathers. Maybe not as fancy as Black Myth Wukong but the latest PV looks promising. Steller Blade is good too. They are not exactly in the same genre. I think the former is more soul-like and likely inspired by Bloodborne.

They're supposed to go back and patch it out of old games from what I've read.
