Same thing for Dark Descent with the character customization, all ugly females. The only thing I like about the main character in is that her evil-queen mog suits her. The ending is weird, all the men with you at the end die in embarassing ways that doesn't suit them (same energy as Joel in Last of Us 2).
I get that same energy from Path of Exile 2 after the first Act. Not that they're girlboss, just that everyone you interact with in siginifcant amounts is 70% likely to be female, including many villains lol. They're not even subtle about it.
Also the aura of toxic girlboss trope, is so played out. It's like they have nothing other than that. Naoe from Assassins Creed Shadows, Ghost of Yotei main character, Intergalactic: The Heretic Prophet etc. So boring and predictale. It's like if Dustborn had a character randomization option which gets you these types of character designs and it's not very random either.
