This game has overt pro-LGBTQ+ and pro-DEI messaging.
There's an ambiguous 'body type' selector for the character-creation screen, and it seems HARD-CODED to explicitly generate mismatched body-types and outfits/hair styles and physical attributes.
Such as tall men wearing dresses and long hair, or 'butch' looking women that are heavier set and less conventionally attractive, or female body types that have silly nontraditional hairstyles like what you'd imagine a child in a rebellion phase would have. The male characters also have the funny hairstyles, as they look equally bad on either.

You're prompted to agree to a 'Village Values' / rules page ( https://i.imgur.com/UpGmL3w.jpeg ), which in the center, says 'Be a kind neighbor', and has pro-dei language on embracing diversity, rejecting discriminatory language, behavior, bigotry, etc. The images on this screen, as well as all over the store page are exclusively dei-laden, mostly picturing diverse women and often either no or very few males, and when there are men, they're shown with nontraditional characteristics so they will appear more diverse.

One of the negative reviews from a player that got farther into it than I did, mentions that even the male characters have female animations, for example when running. <- https://i.imgur.com/XP3jJKb.png

Really, I depend on this and the dei-detected lists when i scroll through game recommendations, and I saw the absence of this and deid on the page for this game along with the positive reviews and a first-glance of me not noticing the overly-strained absence of men, to mean it might be a nice, fun wholesome game. But I was rather shocked when I launched it and felt a very, very, very strong lean in to it. Would love to see it added to the list.

The Village Values thing is extremely creepy and unwanted. From what I've read, this is an extreme level of DEI pandering, not quite Dustborn level but very up there.

Update on some of these things.
Women got a bunch of outfits that are a tad more revealing and they also have jiggle physics.
I wouldn't call randomized Characters woke since games with a lot of different options tend to generate really ugly and weird characters.
The Village Values thing is pretty scummy, but I guess they wanna enforce a positive gameplay environment. FFXIV has this indirectly which is worse tbh. (Saying one slightly mean thing can get you in a heap of trouble for example)
The Picture itself is fine, women and men of that alien race and one normal looking human woman representing the player.
Animations and Clothes seem more tailored for female characters but it seems the game got an update regarding animations (they still look a bit feminine but not as bad as on release)
