by this group's methodology i do believe the game should at the very least be marked informational.
regarding the promotion of american culture...one good thing does not cancel out woke things, and again especially according to the methodology this group uses. there are plenty of games on here that arguably do other things right, but still have woke content and thus are marked informational or not recommended accordingly. it is also worth noting that other games that have been created by this developer have shown up on this list for woke content...look up the quarry on the spreadsheet.
Same thing about eventual other games marked as woke : don't care, each game is evaluated individually, and no list is perfect.
Playing as a black or an asian hero is not enough for being marked as woke, otherwise every JRPG would be marked as woke because all the heroes are Asian. Also, in this specific game, we follow the survival of a GROUP of americans, so the hero here is not specifically coloured. Also, the number of non-whites is not amplified and the non-white characters are not depicted as superior to the whites ones.
You should read the exact methodology too, because apparently you don't understand what means : "Pro-DEI messaging". Pro-DEI messaging would have been checked if ALL the group was coloured, or even HALF the group of american characters, because it would have exagerated the reality of the composition of the american society. Pro-DEI would have been if ANY of those two characters had specific superpowers or were leaders compared to the whites, and it's not the case at all.
Other games of this series are totally woke on several aspects (anti-american and anti-western society House of Ashes, for example) but this one is definitely not.
If you think this group is about banning all Black people in videogames whatever the case, I think it's not the correct group for you, because anti-wokism isn't racism. There are plenty of other games for you if you are in this situation, and I will not judge your personal tastes.
I've seen dozens of complete gameplays of this game and it is definitely non-Woke.
now as for the rest of your post, you obviously either didn't actually read what i wrote or you are purposely misrepresenting what i said. i did not call the game woke for having an asian character or a black character. i never said anything about this group "banning" black people in video games neither...you are being disingenuous right now. my problem is not that the black character exists or the asian character exists. its that they are together as a couple and are major characters in the game and their relationship if I remember right is also somewhat relevant to the plot (as are all the character's relationships with each other)...
re-read my post again. the game prominently features an interracial couple as two of 8 primary protagonists.
i also did say it should be INFORMATIONAL...not "Not Recommended." but INFORMATIONAL. look at helldivers 2 for example. take a look at what's mentioned there...."The intro notably features a mixed race family." and that's just for background characters you see in the intro video...we are not even talking about major characters in this instance. featuring mixed race couple for no reason other than to push pro-DEI messaging is indeed part of this group's conisderations...
According to Pew Research, Asian-Black intermarriages make up less than 2% of all intermarriages (hence its exclusion from the graphic showing the % of intermarriages represented by each ethnic combination):

I will add this game as not recommended.
I managed to squeeze in another sentence referencing my post here with the demographic data. Hopefully that helps give people a better idea of why the review mentions this and encourages them to come here and read more.
I'll add, "According to Pew Research, Asian-Black intermarriages make up less than 2% of all intermarriages" (with a link to the article) to the Google Sheet review since there's no character limit there.
