A planned maintenance event is scheduled to take place on 21 November 2016 @ 06:00 CET, a downtime lasting between 15 and 60 minutes is expected.

I'll update this post in case unexpected problems arise, though they should not.

Internap will be rebooting 2 of its routers on 24 March between 00:00 and 04:00 CET. This will lead to a couple of instances of connectivity loss to our servers, lasting a few minutes each time.

We've seen quite a few reports recently of maliciously intended servers being able to download malware on the PC's of connected players due to exploits in the Source engine.

From past experiences we know Valve moves very slow in patching these so don't count on a fix coming out soon.

This is a reminder to only play on trusted, old & well established servers,
make sure the servers you connect to are the ones you think they are, check their IP to make sure they are not cloned by someone to have the same name or similar.

This exploit, like the last one, can only be performed server side.

I would strongly recommend only connecting to; trusted, old & well established servers for the time being, make sure the servers you connect to are the ones you think they are, check their IP to make sure they are not cloned by someone to have the same name or similar.

Edit: To clarify a bit, this exploit seems to affect all Source engine 2003+ games, it's not limited to 1 game.

Servers successfully exploiting this vulnerability can gain complete access to the victim's PC.
