Server is dead, reason for that is that we could not rase any money for keeping server alive.

RedFlash already stated the main things about the future of our server in his post, but thats only his side of the story, so I decided to talk about our future from my perspective.

So as some of you migh know I am the one who keeps this server running and the one who adds the plugins and all the possibilities for players to enjoy.
As RedFlash stated in his post we have come to experience a bit of a financial set back and on 7th of April the server might be closing its dors.

The reason we made this server is hiding behind the fact, that there were never stable Chernarus servers avalable with all the options we enjoyed, so one day we decided to make a server of our own. We never expected for the server to come as far as it did and its all thanks to you guys.
After we got a stable player base it became abundantly clear, that the server is no longer a server for me and RedFlash, but a server for players. At this point I started working more behind the scenes as I had to make everything as smooth as possible.

Starting from the get go the server really did not have a future in store for it, we paid for one month hosting, made it like we liked it, had some fun and thats it, but as the server started to grow it became clear, that you guys enjoyed playing here, but we would not be able to provide you with lasting experience as keeping the server up and running costs money. We became dependent on you, however this idea soon fel flat, because we never recieved any support.

This post is not made to ask you for money, this post is just to inform you of the things unfolding here, so there would be no questions left unanswered.
Our moto was: "By the players for the players" but being there only two of us who cared for about everything, the second part really did not work out so well.

If the server manages to survive, I will be implimenting monitization system, where if you view adds, the server gets money. This is not for our benifit but for yours, as we hope this might help to cover the hosting cost in the future, that is, if there will be one. Also, I would be working on steady stream of updates, including new plugins and mods. And we would take in new staff to keep the server monitored as much as possible. But thes are the plans for the future that might never come.

I apoligize for my long rambling and I thank every one of you for being part of the server and helping us grow. As of today there has been almost 2000 uniqe visitors in our server. Thats a nice achievment, that all of you have helped us to reach. Thank you for your support.

So i guess everyone knows i’m the owner of the server. First of all have to apologise for me not being able to update server every time there is an update. I’m sorry that sometimes server is not updated on the spot, Sorry.
But the main reason for this entry is to inform the players that i have some issues with my job, to put it simply i got fired from my job, coz the company i’m forking for is not able to pay the gas and electric bills. Baltic people my know the situation regarding KVV Liepājas Metalurgs.
So what i’m saying is that i will not be able to pay for the host, so if you enjoy the server and wanna keep on playing there, all of us need to donate 22 eur till the 7th of April.
For every euro you will get 1k credits, for 10euro you will get VIP.
And lastly i wanna thank you all for the support, for playing and enjoying our server. Thanks Everyone. :)
