Filf Review

This review was made based on my experience playing on a Ryzen 5 3600, 16GBs of ram and a GTX 1650, be mindful that my experience can differ from yours depending on the hardware.

FILF is a NSFW visual novel game that tells the story of a 20-ish years old man that comes back to his native town to have lots of sex with his childhood friends and their mothers. Be aware that this game’s targeted audience is straight males.

Questions you might have if you're interested in playing it:

• What is it exactly that you do in the game?
  
  Like in most NSFW visual novels you click on stuff, read dialogue, make decisions over random choices that can sometimes pop-out on the screen, explore locations and chat with NPCs in order to progress the story… and obviously you watch NSFW short videos and slideshows.
  
  
  
• Will it make my eyes bleed?
  
  It's average. The models and the backgrounds are nothing special. The textures are fine and the animations are well animated but way too short.
  
  
• Does it have a good story?
  
  Even for NSFW game standards it’s underwhelming, not bad, just very bare bones. I have to admit that the humor of the game didn’t click with me, it felt cheap. The good thing is that a story is not really a “must have” in NSFW games.
  
  
• Does it have a good soundtrack?
  
  It's fine. It’s quite catchy but I won’t say that it is “great”. It helps with the playful tone of the game.
  
  
• Does it have replay value?
  
  It has some. There are multiple routes for each character that you can romance in-game for what I had seen there are no multiple endings. You can do everything that the game offers you in a single run.
  
  
  
• Does it run well?
  
  It runs flawlessly. There is not much else to tell. It’s a game that is not very demanding and I didn’t have any problems with it.
  
  
• Is it fun?
  
  It’s fun enough. Your enjoyment of this game is going to depend on your tolerance for click and point trappings and how hot you think the NSFW parts of the game are.
  

So what is FILF?

It’s one of the visual novels where you have to explore multiple locations, gather money, wait for the correct NPC to be in the right place and at the right time to progress their story. This is not a bad thing but I have to admit that it creeps me out how the game allows you to go to the house of a woman that you barely meet, go inside their house uninvited, lay down in her tub and masturbate thinking of her. I’m not into that and if you are into that, more power to you.

FILF offers you plenty of nudity and thigh outfits to “entice you”, but be aware that the actual sex scenes are locked behind relatively long and kind of convoluted quest for each character.

Is this game worth my hard earned money?

If you like this style of game and you really like the models that this game shows in the preview on steam, you are going to enjoy this game. This game offers you plenty of eye candy but you have to work for it.
