Project L33T Review
About The Game
Project L33T is supposed to be a hardcore first-person extraction shooter where you would find yourself competing against AI and players in an attempt to extract Artifacts and gear to progress your efficiency, character, and base.

Gameplay
The gameplay is rather similar to other extraction-style FPS games, most notably Escape from Tarkov, but what there is of current gameplay can be clunky at times but overall, it's not that bad.

It has the usual things like going in a raid where you fight AI and players, loot them and the environment while keeping an eye on your health, energy, and hydration, and try to get out, but lose everything if you die.

Things you extract with can be used to upgrade the Social Base, trade with merchants, or turn them in for quests.

An interesting mechanic is the ability to hire Mercenaries, who are AI squad-mates that follow you around and follow your orders.

The game also has a decent variety of guns which can be customized in detail at the gunsmith.

Visuals
The game’s graphics are pretty decent looking with nice detail to weapons, visual effects, and the environment.

Audio
The game’s audio is a little clunky, namely in terms of difficulty of the ability to tell which direction the audio is coming from or how far away it is, but the environment audio and the gunfire is decent.

Pros and Cons
Pros
  • Variety of Weapons,
  • Interesting Mercenary mechanic

Cons
  • Clunky audio,
  • Lack of updates,
  • Awkward aiming sensitivity

Conclusion:

The game all in all isn’t that bad, but I can’t recommend it for its price, but than there is also the issue of it seemingly being abandonware, like the studio’s previous games, with no August update that was promised or even any minor patches or news on the game at all.

Therefore, until we get confirmation that the game is actually being worked on, I cannot recommend the game, as it’s player count is essentially 0, being a dead game.

Rating: 4/10
