Detroit achieves standards that a lot of AAA games fail to do.

🎮Gameplay:

Detroit is a narrative experience with a vibe of a cinematic movie screen playing on its own. But the developers have brilliantly fused narrative experience and player control. The gameplay scatters into various character stories that indirectly connect to each other. The genre tag Choice-based completely justifies its importance in the game. There are multiple difficulty options to divide your gameplay, as you can lose a character if you make wrong decisions. There is no win or lose in the game. You are not obliged to follow any particular route. This is your playthrough, so it is up to you how you turn the event results. The game doesn’t feel janky in any aspect. Everything feels and looks top-notch. All the characters grow on you, which is a prime example of remarkable writing. Not all chapters will be linear. There will be a broad web of decisions that can lead to multiple outcomes. You can also replay the chapter if you are curious about the alternate outcome. You will also encounter a lot of quick-time events and construct-reconstruct functionality. We know Quantic Dream for tricking the players into choosing a character on a time of one-on-one confrontation of both main characters. So stay prepared and make your choice wisely.

Colorful, highly detailed, and eye-popping graphics. No quantity of words is enough to describe how well the game looks and feels. Thanks to brilliant actors and motion capture technology for producing a top-grade quality game that captures every emotion and sensation. Each chapter takes place in a different location, making your gameplay experience varied and fun. The game works perfectly in tricking you; you are moving in an open-world surface, but actually, you are just roaming in the space of a single street size. Everything from expressions, character modeling, shaders, movements, cinematography executes brilliantly.

Chloe-
The first android you meet in the game’s main menu is one of the most innovative ways of establishing a connection between the player and the game controls. As the game progresses, interaction with Chloe increases too.

Hidden achievement-
Out of all the characters, Connor can die ten times throughout the gameplay. If you manage to end at least 8 of the chapters with Connor dying- you get a special achievement (I’LL BE BACK).

What makes Detroit stand out different from other games- is how well its story and gameplay mechanism is executed. Until the very end, it hooks you to the screen. And not to forget 100+ possible endings. The game will surely make you shed a tear or two. No matter how tough you think you are.
