Tutorial - Omega Marks

Omega Marks (or OM's for short) are the quickest marks out of all the reputations to acquire. The way we do it in TFD is through Elite STF's (If you don't know how to access to STF queue yet, please don't attempt these!) Doing a run-through of just 2 of the easiest missions, Khitomer Vortex and Starbase: Conduit can get you a minimum of 150 Omega Marks if you do it right!

As these missions are Elite difficulty, make sure you bring repair components/regenerators! (I carry a minimum of each type of 20 Critical, Major, Minor components and regenerators at all times). When you die or get blown up, you will gain an injury and have to repair yourself.

The missions that are most commonly run are the space missions. The ground elites are very hard and have to be explained in detail before attempted- I will go over those later on in this tutorial.

All of these missions have an optional objective, in which the optional objective must be completed within a certain amount of time (15 minutes). If you fail this objective you can go on ahead to finish the mission, but for less OM's. Completing the optional objective will get you extra 15% of the marks or so as a reward.

The first of the elites I will cover is KHITOMER VORTEX. Khit Vortex or just Vortex for short, starts the team off facing a Borg cube. After the cube is destroyed, a 15 minute timer will start for the optional objective. On either side of the map, there is a borg gateway which is powered by 2 generators, which are themselves powered by 4 generators.
