Server renewal is up sometime today.

I'm not paying it and have no interest in keeping the site still alive.

The domain will still be registered for a while, as it's already been paid.

For anyone who did still use the site (you'd likely already know this was happening as I put the notice up weeks ago), sadly this is the end of the long run since 2011 (the site hit its 12th birthday this month).

There are other raffle sites out there which have done what we do, and do it far better. We were the first, but certainly not the last. It was a good run, but all things come to an end (mostly as I've lost all interest in retail TF2's shenanigans over the years and the site was always held together with literal tape, combine with a bloated database it was a wonder it worked at all for as long as it did).

I'll be putting up a landing page once the old server expires, to act as a memorial as such, I guess.

Iwasa wanted to keep a read-only copy of the site still up but personally, I don't see much of a point, it's a data protection nightmare and I honestly don't see the appeal of it, there's hardly anything to do with the site other than look at profile comments and older raffles. So I've said no against that, but they do have their own copy of everything so never know, if ask enough we might put up a read-only copy.

As for me, I've moved on to doing other things. Still dead end job where the company recently went into administration, only to be sold less than 24 hours later (who knows if I will still have a job in a few months). Had food poisoning a week earlier and now got covid for a 3rd time, winning the worst lottery ever lately.
