Im still not unbanned. When the error first happend I was unbanned with all the others. Then I got the error back after a little while, not my account has been bugged aince 22. aug.

I only received a message stating that my trading gifting ect had been revoked. I did get 2 replies from steam support stating that it has been used for fraudulent activities. But no other information what so ever. Is it permanent? If not how long will it last? I did ask those questions but the last reply I ever got was " we cannot assist you further" Untill today recieveing the messages every1 else is getting.(this acc does not own the game) Steam is leaving us in the dark and the more I wait for this so called "issue" to be resolved the more I linger on the thought that our accounts are going to stay this way. If it was really an issue regarding maintenance we would have received a message like in the 2011 thread. So far No information has been put out and no answers from steam support either regarding information on the revoked accounts

I'd also like to point out that the error for this is kind of silly for someone being restricted of games purposely, so there's that.

Various Valve games networks went down about 42 hours ago, which, as far as I can, more or less lines up with when this started. I believe this was done in error, but it's ridiculous how long it's taking for Valve to even announce anything.

If you want to check the networks yourself, visit www.isitdownrightnow.com then type the game's websites URL. The server that hosts the website is the same server that hosts the game itself, so both games and website go down at the same time.

I'll just ask you guys not to bad mouth Valve. We don't know what's going on so as far as we know it is not a scam of any sort.

Why do I get this error, that I dont own the game. is it because my user that im trying to play on is community banned? Is this permanent?

If these errors are due to trade banned, or restricted accounts then that's some real ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥♥. It's bad enough for people to suffer not being able to trade or buy anything, and now this...
