I know this method, but I want to understand how works "csgo.exchange > Calculator > Item float" or glws.org. These sites work without owner_steamid

You can't get an item's wear without knowing who owns it.

The owner's SteamID is in that inspect link, unless it's a market listing inspect link.

In that case, the only way to get the wear is directly from the GC, which isn't very scalable.
