The system recommended that I should play Skyrim Special Edition ... because I played a lot in Skyrim Legendary Edition. Let me guess — Does Todd Howard hide under machine learning?

Yeah, this is kind of a special case (there are a handful of other examples too), where two versions of the same game have different app ids. The machine learning system just thinks they're different games.

So, on the one hand, it's kind of cool that the ML system figured out that they're similar. And if they were genuinely different games it might actually be a good recommendation for you. If you think about it, it really should give you confidence in the system.

On the other hand, yes, it does look silly.

Finding stuff like this is one reason we are trying to ship new features early in Steam Labs. Thanks for the feedback!
