Bypass sv_pure 1 servers

Just copy and paste this command into your autoexec (this will slow down the time it takes to load the main menu when you open tf2)

If you are using mastercomfig, create a "user" folder inside your cfg and put your autoexec there with the command inside the autoexec.cfg

"map_background itemtest; wait 10; disconnect"

If you've done this correctly your background should turn black when you are on the main menu and it takes way longer to load the main menu when you start the game

How to install hitsound and killsound

• 1º Go to Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom
  
• 2º Create a folder inside custom with whatever name you want
  
• 3º Inside that folder create another folder named "sound"
  
• 4º Inside "sound" folder create another folder named "ui"
  
• 5º Paste inside both hitsound.wav and killsound.wav

How it ends up
Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom/user_stuff(your folder)/sound/ui/hitsound.wav & killsound.wav

Errors
Error: Having 2 custom hitsound.wav and killsound.wav somewhere.
How to fix: Delete the other hitsound/killsound to make it work.

Common Error: Not using the "default" effect for both hitsound and killsound options in Advanced Options and also not even enabling the killsound.

How to install .vpk files

• 1º Go to Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom
  
• 2º Paste the .vpk files inside, that's all, NO FOLDERS, just paste them inside custom.

How it ends up
Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom/namehere.vpk

Check if the .vpk file is inside custom and not in custom/(folder name)

How to install tf/materials/scripts/sounds/textures folders

This is only if inside a .rar you have a tf folder at first, you must only pay attention to what's inside the tf folder in the .rar
• 1º Forget about the "tf" folder inside the rar, we want everything inside the "tf" folder inside the .rar, not the "tf" folder.
  
• 2º Go to Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom
  
• 3º Create a folder inside custom with whatever name you want
  
• 4º Inside that folder you are going to paste (if inside the tf folder has) materials, particles, textures and sound folders (if the rar/zip doesn't have one of these or just one don't worry you only need what the mods tells you, you need.)

How it ends up
Program Files(x86)/Steam/Steamapps/Common/Team Fortress 2/tf/custom/user_stuff(your folder)/materials,particles,sound & textures folders.

Errors

• 1º You've ignored the first step, fack the tf folder, we don't need him, only the folders inside him.
  
• 2º Wrong folder placement, remember, custom/user_stuff/ all the folders BUT NOT THE TF FOLDER

Crosshairs

Just this: https://cfg.tf/tools/crosshairs/ select the gun, then the crosshair and add. After that you have to do it for each and single weapon you want to be modified and download it.

IMPORTANT: Be sure that inside the .rar you've installed there're 2 folders: "materials" and "scripts". Inside "scripts" should be the number of weapons you changed crosshair from, if you changed 6 different category weapons' crosshairs, there must be 6 files inside your "scripts" folder, sometimes the page doesn't give you this and you have to do everything all over again (happened to me way more that i would've liked)
