Let's see:

- Be aware of where the crush blocks are at all times. Those are the ones with the eyes.
- Using Anubis' Staff is a really bad idea. It's as likely to kill you as anything.
- Ropes will burn up if they touch lava.
- Try to avoid the attention of the red and green guards. They are both more trouble than they are worth.
- Try to lure mummies into spike traps.
- Slow and steady is the best way to do anything in this game. Rushing is a really good way to get splattered by a trap.

Yeah, it's hard to find any parts of the boss arena large enough that are not full of gold and gems. I had him stomp a good chunk of the arena, then bombed the last bit. Gotta watch out for those stray nuggets of gold, though.

I think this is essential for beating olmec without collecting loot. On my first try defeating him I choose the fast method but this makes me collect some gold.

I owe my victory to crates containing spring boots and a cape. And bombs. I collected about ten bombs.

At the moment I try to stream but works not really good. I think my uplaod is way tooo bad :(

Finally got Low Scorer. It's been a while since an achievement offered me a challenge like that.

I had wondered about those myself. While it's possible to complete some level layouts really quickly, is it really reasonable to believe they could have an entire run like that and still finish with the gear needed to kill Olmec quickly?

It's ok, just checked the world record, I thought I could make it to the top. But it's now 2:00 min. how the hell have that person done this? That's only 7.30 sec.per stage. This can't be real. Hope that not any hacker have ♥♥♥♥♥♥ up the ranking system already :(

I'm sooooooooo ♥♥♥♥♥♥♥ angry right now. First speedrun today, 6:25min. Olmec defeated, get unconscious by an enemy, landed on Olmec get kicked by a frog into the lava before waking up.
Second try about 4:33min. get passed trought the exit, tab out run fraps to record the record, game crashes. I could really cry, thats sooooooooo ♥♥♥♥ :'C
