Removed the random_events on action cause doesn't work as intended, so creating a thread for this.
People with direwolves, wolves, dogs, shadowcats, snowbears, and brownbears will now have a chance, an event fires every year which as a 50% chance of firing another event, for their animal to have a baby that can get gifted to others and will grow into a creature itself.

What are the rules for gifting the pups? It seems really random to me, I can't give them to my wife but I can gift them to the Greatjon. I know if you hover over the option it will tell you the criteria, but there seems to be hidden requirements since I don't even have the option for some people and is greyed out but appears for others.

What if the whole thing was overhauled to work as it does for dragons in vanilla?
the "pets" wouldn't be traits but instead actual characters which will have a determined gender and ability to reproduce... I bet it would be a hella lot of work but it would be an amazing mod

This mod does not work on the 1.7.1 version. Can you please update it? My friend without steam really like your mod
