You just need Rebellion. As long as the game host has the DLC, you can play with it, too.

do you need the DLC to play or just rebellion in your 5's games ? Might try and get back up to scratch

It's tough because newer players mostly play against AI with their friends in passworded or modded games. Hang in there! Best bet is to come online and look for smaller sized games like FFA's, 2v2's, 3v3's and maybe host your own small games with titles like "noobs only" or "low skill". You guys aren't the only ones in the same boat.

I'm willing to learn, but I need to find people who won't just kick me immediately. I've been playing this game against AI for years so need to unlearn bad habits.

Everyone joining a modded game must have matching checksums - everyone needs the exact same mod / version.

There have been some great 5 on 5 games lately. Man, if you only play this against the AI, you don't know what you're missing.

Gosh, it looks like the sharp increase in game announcements have cost us some members. Oh well. They probably weren't coming online anyway.

Brat-Killer, your best bet is to just log on to Ironclad Online and look for open games or host games with titles like "All Welcome" or some such. I normally play in the 5 on 5 games, but those games are full of heavy duty pros and newer players might not always be welcome unless they're having a really hard time filling the spots. But I think there's an untapped hidden demand out there for lower-skilled team PvP games populated by less experienced players.

Since the Operators of this group can create events that pop up, I thougt I may recommend to create the Event earlier if possible. At the moment the Event is createt when you decide to start a game. I know it can take up to hours to fill the first game but it would be still nice to know beforehands, so i can take some time and sit down for a round of Sins. Greetings

It's going to be hard to find people who still play Trinity, at least for online multiplayer. All of the action is now on the Rebellion expansion.

Thanks WHIPperSNAPper for your posts about Sins. I see your post about the online multiplayer being dead but hopefully a lot of the single player stuff can be as good for that fix.

Well, I bought Rebellion :) Hopefully I can eventually work my way up to PvP's....

Trinity is completely dead for online multiplayer. Regarding Rebellion, be forewarned that the activity level is not great and that almost all of the PvP gaming is experienced pro players. Sadly, there isn't much beginner and intermediate skill PvP action because most new people cower in comp stomps with their friends (rather than challenge other new people).

Does anybody still have Trinity/willing to play Trinity? Also, when is the summer sale thing, I am thinking about buying Rebellion during the sale. (Cause sorry, but I'm not paying 40 bucks for rebellion after I bought the orginal sins and then trinity awhile after)

A good number of people play it PvP. There's normally a 5-on-5 game or two being played at any one time, at least during European and North American prime time hours.

What are the benefits of upgrading the Missile Platform ability for the TEC Carrier, or is it useless to upgrade once you've already acquired the ability? I guess the same question would apply to the Siege Platform ability.

Sadly, there weren't too many people on the Diplomacy server the last time I logged on. It seems like just about everyone, including myself, has moved on to the Rebellion expansion.

New player here. Looking to lean and play.

Over the weekend I saw over 100 people online for the Diplomacy expansion during the (North American) afternoon. Most of the player base has moved to the Rebellion expansion. I'm happy to play either version of the game.

So is anyone still playing this now that rebellion is out?
