I have a server up at shackcraft.sytes.net if anybody wants a fresh start. I can't seem to get the toolkit stuff to work, but I do have the llamacraft mod for /lighter and nerfed TNT and lava.

well, the biggest benefit of a steam groups is one place to post game info (such as you have in the announcements) and the ability to schedule events. If MercFox was an admin/officer of the group and had the permission to schedule events, he could have made his 'Trek to found Duke City' thing last night a steam event, and everyone in this group would have gotten a popup from steam at the time for the event to start, which could have included what the event was about and the server ip, so it could be easily copied and pasted into the game to connect to the server.
