William at Oxford, possible review manipulation
In recent months developer William at Oxford (archive)[archive.is] started spamming steam with various "VR experiences".
Surprisingly some of them started getting positive reviews, not surprisingly, all but two of those positive reviews are from just two accounts.
Both those accounts are barebone, or private, and only reviews are for "experiences" from William at Oxford.
First one is Samothes (archive)[archive.is] with 7 reviews, all of them completely same.
Second one is benzhao98 (archive)[archive.is] (page 2)[archive.is] who is lot more active with currently 17 reviews.

William at Oxford seems to also exploit bundling of his "experiences" and there seems to be two flaws in how Steam handles them.
First, despite all items in bundle being ignored, bundle is still shown normally.
Second, even if each "experience" doesn't have enough reviews, most have only one, to show reviews score, bundled together they show score, hence most of William's bundles are sporting nice positive scores.

Thanks for the post!

After viewing several of the games and their reviews I would have to agree that the reviews are definitely suspicious

I also did not realize that despite the games not having enough reviews for a score, when combined in a bundle Valve combines the reviews and gives the bundle a score based on that. And as you mentioned it looks like this dev may have used that to his advantage and under the radar.

I will pass this on to Mellow.

Nice work spotting the reviews.
