Features
https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2100020767
  • 8 core game modes with over than 30 variations.
  • 11 perks, including Gunslinger.
  • 100 weapons (10 weapons per perk in average)
  • Custom gun skins.
  • 86 zed kinds (56, if not counting event zeds)
  • Fixed Hitboxes - no wonky headshots anymore. Sharpshooter + Firebug can finally play together.
  • Reworked Zed Spawns - now the game feels like a real specimen invasion, not "cheap" spawns just around the corner.
  • More than 400 achievements.
  • Hundreds, if not thousands, of bug fixes and QoL improvements.
And the best part: all that works well together and is more-or-less balanced and challenging! There are no stupidly overpowered weapons. There are no totally useless guns. Of course, there are T1 guns for early waves and T3 for later. And there are personal preferences - some people may like a particular gun, but others don't. Every perk and every weapon has its own niche and its own use case.

Introduction
Why do people love mods? Additional content, enhanced gameplay, more variety, extra challenge, and a lot of configuration.

Why do people hate mods? Unbalanced content, ruined gameplay, 10 versions of the same ♥♥♥♥ covered in different fancy covers, overpowered content removes any challenge, too much configuration.

This one is different. ScrN Brutal KF Bundle provides a lot of additional but at the same time balanced content; enhanced gameplay but sticking to the roots of the original; more gameplay strategies, techniques, and tricks; from moderate up to an insanely hard challenge; and zero configuration needed. Yes, you've heard it: no configuration is required. Everything is pre-configured for you*. All you have to do is download the bundle and unzip it into your KillingFloor folder, and you are ready to go.

Game Modes
  1. Classic Survival (with or without custom zeds)
  2. Remastered Objective Mode, including KFO-Foundry-SE.
  3. Doom Demon Invasion
  4. XCM - eXpert Challenge Mode
  5. FTG - Follow The Guardian
  6. Escape the Hunter
  7. TSC - Team Survival Competition
  8. Social Isolation
  9. Nightmare
  10. Ammo Hunt
  11. Welding Floor
  12. and many others (more than 30 game variations in total)

Perks
  1. Field Medic. Besides medic SMGs, Medics have Medic Grenade Launchers (shoot healing grenades) in their inventory and a special Medic Pistol, which uses primary fire and ammo for both healing and killing.
  2. Support Specialist. Now he really does as his title says: supports the team. He can help deal with every zed, from Crawler to Fleshpound, but against any single zed, Support is not as effective as dedicated that-kind-of-zed killers.
  3. Sharpshooter. Has no "auto-bow" and "body-shooting musket". Even M99 is more-or-less balanced. He still is the best for dealing with medium-to-big zeds at long and moderate distances. But in difference with the vanilla game (or KF2), he must hit the head to be effective, or he'll get punished badly.
  4. Commando. Has Tactical Reload for most of the guns, which allows reloading faster when a bullet is in the chamber. Increased magazine sizes and Armor-Piercing rounds of some weapons allow dealing with big zeds in urgent cases. Commando is the best trash cleaner if you can hit the head... at least sometimes.
  5. Berserker. Not as OP as in vanilla, but you can still kite if you have skills. In addition, now Berserker can be used as a team member while camping (no doorzerking!). Reworked the Chainsaw that does a good amount of damage (and stuns Scrakes) but consumes fuel.
  6. Firebug. Reworked burning mechanics. Completely redesigned HuskGun with Napalm Thrower for secondary fire. It charges faster, but you must hit the head if you want to deal with SC/FP. Balanced Flare Revolvers.
  7. Demolitions. L.A.W. made much useful. M4-203 is not a #### anymore. It has RPG-7, which, as in KF2, has a very limited amount of ammo but at least is capable of killing HoE Husks and Bloats. And you don't have to wait for Zed Time to kill something :)
  8. Gunslinger. Specializes in using both single and dual pistols. In the T3 arsenal, Gunslinger has dualies with attached laser sights (for precision) and a ".500 Elephant Pistol" (for beating the #### out of medium zeds). Has combos for dealing with Scrakes.
  9. Combat Medic. Damage bonus with medic guns, fast attacks with light melee weapons, full movement speed in Zed Time.
  10. Heavy Machine Gunner. He has such weapons as PKM, M249, Miniguns, and other machine guns. First, I thought this perk was lame. But when I saw KF2 Demo Nukes... Yes, HMG doesn't need to aim at the head, but at least he needs to aim...
  11. Horzine Technician. Specializes in zapping and freezing zeds. Frozen may be shattered. Siren's Scream shatters frozen zeds, turning them into deadly ice shards.

Zeds
  • Standard zeds with fixed hitboxes.
  • Event zeds (all event zeds and stock zeds can be used in the same game)
  • Siren's scream shatters frozen zeds, turning them into deadly ice shards. The scream pull effect is fixed. Multiple Sirens screaming at the same time and place may pull you into a zed crowd.
  • Tesla Husk
  • Ghost
  • Female Fleshpound and Female Fleshpound MKII
  • Brute SE (ScrN Edition)
  • Shiver SE (ScrN Edition)
  • Jason SE (ScrN Edition)
  • DooM Demons
Multiple game configs feature different kinds of zeds. Each setup can be picked right in-game - during map voting. For example, you can play one map with just standard zeds, then switch to DooM3 monsters for the next map.

New Downloads on DIscord
I'm tired of Steam's automated content check system blocking my Steam community pages due to download links despite the fact they don't contain a single executable. For new updates, please follow our Discord page:

Strange. I've tested this bundle on freshly installed KF, and everything worked fine. Can you please write all the steps you're doing and at what phase you're getting error?

You can open a console (~ by default) and enter:
OPEN 216.246.109.162:7707
Works with IP and domain names.

Yes, there is. But it's kindda tricky. You need to create text document and upload it onto your (or anybody else's) web server. Then open up ServerPerks.ini and set ServerNewsURL to link your document. For example:
ServerNewsURL=www.scrnbalance.net/ServerNews/S3News.txt
Text document support basic HTML tags (no CSS though). Here is example:
