FPS games servers in Southeast Asia

Hello there fellow SEA gamers! I'm now based in North America, but will be moving to SEA later.

I would just like to ask on whether certain games that I play have servers in SEA or anywere not too far (I am not fussy about ping - can tolerate up to 250ms if the server allows it):

Call of Duty series:
COD4MW
MW2
BO
BO2
MW3
Ghosts

Battlefield series:
BFBC2
BF3
BF4
(I know that Revive BF2 and Revive BF2142 have servers in the Asia region)

Insurgency

Warface

Also, apart from the CS franchise which I assume have servers in SEA region, what other multiplayer FPS games are popular (including F2Ps).

Yes, there may be a couple of servers, but the problem is the player count. I think maybe >50% (rough estimation) do not usually play those games and they somehow pretty much stuck with DOTA 2, CS: GO and the likes (and they love it).

Some people from Australia might also jump in SEA servers though, and you can jump in theirs too.

Some games that i played which have (or had) a pretty good amount of players:
-Insurgency
-Rising Storm / Red Orchestra 2 (decreasing rapidly)
-Killing Floor 2 (very recommended)
-CS: GO
-Payday 2
-Team Fortress 2
-G Mod
-Left 4 Dead 2

Some games that i have not played and may have tolerable server count and population:
-Rainbow Six: Siege
-ARMA 3 (i'm really not sure)
-Playerunknown's Battleground
-H1Z1

Really though, i think there is a different favored genre between here and the US (which is sad). On my observation, we don't really like hardcore tactical games and yearly games like CoD and BF much (maybe because they cost a fortune here). Online CoD and BF won't last long since there won't be many players joining in. I could be wrong though.

But hey, Supreme Commander: Forged Alliance is on sale, maybe we can coop if you want.

Thanks so much for the detailed answer! I know it is impossible to be spot on with everything on such a general and wide coverage of FPS games in the SEA region, but your reply is a great overview for me!

I made a little reseach and found out that there are COD4MW servers in the Asian region (indonesia, India etc) and also BF4 servers in Hong Kong and Singapore as well - though it remains to be seen how well populated these are.

I am suspecting that Warface may have a Thailand server, and perhaps some Asia servers for Dirty Bomb too.

Dunno if AVA and Sopecial Force 2 is still up and running in the region.

The CS franchise is something for sure :)

There's a decent amount of players in Raibow six siege and pubg.

you can hop in game within 30secs usually

If you're interested in ol' granddaddy BF1942, there's an active server in China and a very strong community on a modded Japanese server

I found BF4 Japanese and Singaporean servers.

BFBad Company 2 are kinda difficult in Asia too, but I found one or two playable servers running Conquest and TDM. While the ping numbers may not be great, BFBC2 somehow tends to be more forgiving with high pings and still dah fun playing.

COD4MW has got asian servers as well.
