How to Solo in Local Host

How to play solo using console commands:

First of all, after start L4D2 open the Console (How to open console) and type the name of the map you wanna play, example:

map c1m4_atrium survival

Here you can see a list of all the Survival Maps:

Atrium:
map c1m4_atrium survival

Riverbank:
map c6m1_riverbank survival

Underground:
map c6m2_bedlam survival

Port TP:
map c6m3_port survival

Motel:
map c2m1_highway survival

Stadium Gate:
map c2m4_barns survival

Concert:
map c2m5_concert survival

Gator Village:
map c3m1_plankcountry survival

Plantation:
map c3m4_plantation survival

Burger Tank:
map c4m1_milltown_a survival

Sugar Mill:
map c4m2_sugarmill_a survival

Bus Depot:
map c5m2_park survival

Bridge:
map c5m5_bridge survival

Generator Room:
map c8m2_subway survival

Rooftop:
map c8m5_rooftop survival

Traincar:
map c7m1_docks survival

Port TS:
map c7m3_port survival

After map is loaded you can slay the bots by using this console commands:
Type in the console:

sv_cheats 1

kill Rochelle; kill Ellis; kill Coach

(if you play L4D2 maps, you always play as Nick).

kill Zoey; kill Francis; kill Louis

(if you play L4D1 maps, you always play as Bill).

noclip

(if you want noclip to fly around the map to move stuff, just type noclip again to disable it).

Once you are done with the prepare, type in the console sv_cheats 0
If you are lucky and you break any record, your time will be saved, with ''sv_cheats 1'' records will not be saved.

Few tips:

Before prepare anything make sure there is laser in Traincar and Port Sacrifice, because item configuration is random. Just call a restart vote and if there is no laser yet, just reload the map by type in cosole the map name (Traincar: c7m1_docks , Port TS: c7m3_port) and after map is loaded you can call a restart vote again if you want.

If you don't wanna waste more of your precious time, writing the console commands, you can just press Up key in the console and it will show your last console command. This way you don't have to type every console command you already did before, just use your Up & Down arrow keys and you can be more faster than before.

On atrium when I host from a local server, med kits somehow pile up and spawn where the survivors spawn by default when a round restarts. Does anyone else have this issue?

I have had that happen, but only when I kick the survivors instead of killing them

Once I saw a defib spawned in pills spot but after I restart round it didnt happened again.

I dont understand, in this way after recording demo when I watch it there is no god damn CLOCK.
I was looking to make a video but NO clock (time clock) :(

There is no Clock because game was played with sv_cheats 1. After you have donde the prepare I recomend disable the cheats by type sv_cheats 0, after doing that, clock will show in your demos ;)

Today when I was doing solo in my Local Host I Turn off noclip + Sv_cheats 1
Then start recording demo....after round finished stop demo and again SV_cheats 1 + noclip & move cans then Turn off noclip + Sv_cheats 1 and start another demo recording.

But Still no clock

What you have to do before start the game use sv_cheats 1, use noclip, and when you are done of preparing, type sv_cheats 0, then start recording and start the game.

Another weird thing I saw the other day playing solos. I had 700 ammo with M16. I didn't used any console command, I was, WTF. After leaving and joining the game again, the problem was fixed.
