Great News fellow Stalkers!

After a bleak end of 2011 with news that GSC may have closed doors and stopped development of S.T.A.L.K.E.R 2, the new year sheds light on a seemingly horrible turn of event for those who don't know:

"The Stalker team is extremely happy! Why? Because we are continuing work on Stalker 2 after the holidays." - Official S.T.A.L.K.E.R Facebook Page

Luckily the team, as stated above, has continued work on the next game but is in need of funding/a publisher. It turns out, Fork Parker, the CEO of Devolver Digital, has sent emails to GSC after asking Joe Mullin (Twitter and Facebook operator for GSC) who he should contact:

This is nothing but great news for S.T.A.L.K.E.R fans, and will hopefully lead to us getting our hands on the next game in an amazing series.
