Using Yandex

Hi friends,

does anyone have experience with Yandex? I'm trying to pay using this one and I was able to add funds to my yandex wallet but I must provide passport information (that I miss) during the payment process. What can I do?

You mean Yandex.Money, right?
Well, I'm not using it but as far as I know you need to go through Identification process to be able to use it anyway.

Damn, then it seems like a pretty stupid system where you can add funds on account from which you are not allowed to spend them yet

Ok found the way. To bypass the passport identification process, firstly add funds to yandex money (with your credit card for example) and then use their "steam wallet" page to transfer funds to your Steam account. You just need to set your Steam account name (e.g. mine is Balduran77). It transfer funds to your steam wallet right away . Cool!

It's good that you found a way to deal with the problem, but you should remove your login (account name) from the previous post.
Just like the password, this is not a thing that should be revealed to anyone.

there's no password or login name. What are you talking about? Balduran77? You can easily retrieve this information from my steam profile page, just check the URL! Thanks anyway for pointing this out!

Oh, ok then. It's just when I refill my Steam wallet from Qiwi wallet or street payment terminal it asks me to write exactly my login. I thought that it's the same with Yandex.Money ¯\_(ツ)_/¯
